This course is designed to give you a solid foundation in yoga, helping you build strength, flexibility, and confidence in your practice. Whether you're brand new to yoga or looking to revisit the basics, these sessions will guide you through movement, breathwork, and relaxation in a way that feels approachable and supportive.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Essential Yoga Postures – Develop confidence in foundational poses with a focus on alignment, balance, and ease.
  • Breathwork Techniques – Learn how to use your breath to support movement, reduce stress, and improve focus.
  • Building Strength & Mobility – Move through simple yet effective sequences to strengthen your body while improving flexibility.
  • Relaxation & Mindfulness – Explore practical ways to bring stillness and relaxation into your daily life.

This course is about feeling good in your body, moving at your own pace, and developing skills you can use beyond the mat. No prior experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to learn.

Come as you are, bring your own mat if you have one,otherwise just bring a light blanket and a towel to cover your bolster, water and wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Etiquette

General terms and class etiquette of Yoga Brave:

If you are unable to attend your class, please let us have as much notice as possible so that we can fill your spot, otherwise your payment or class credit cannot be refunded.

General classes we require 2 hours notice for a full credit.
Workshops we offer a credit if we can fill your place from our waitlist.

Enjoy your class!

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class to allow yourself time to register and settle in.
  • Turn your phone and / or smartwatch OFF (or aeroplane mode) - no silent or vibrate settings please!
  • Leave your shoes and your ego at the door.
  • Advise the teacher of any injuries or possible concerns which may arise during class.
